Backupfrom gpsoz has been great to date replcing my sd card after almost a year when it shit itself. XRHondafan , Feb 7, Warin , Sep 9, The mountains of the mid north coast NSW. I like the idea of OzTopo V9, as you can turn the contours off, and it seems like both tracks and routes are routable and it's an Aussie product, but if Garmin Topo's better I'd probably steer to that.

Oct 14, Oddometer: Like DustyWheels above, I use 5 different products on my GPS, for cross-referencing and differences in scale when zoomed out. Compatible with the latest Garmin Models: XRHondafanFeb 7, I seem to recall garmln OZTopo and Garmin used to use the same data sources for their mapsets, but is this still the case?

Oztopo Topo Maps fro Garmin GPS - Nuvi, Zumo, eTrex, Oregon, Dakota, Astro, Montana
Roads may well be missing in any of them. One thing I do like about it over the Garmin Product I have both is that the Oztopo keeps the detail of minor roads at a higher zoom level than the Garmin Maps do.
Oztopo and Garmin Topo are out of date from the day you buy them, but this is not as critical for off road navigation as not much changes off the bitumen and if you use CN on road you should get lifetime updates on the Montana. Write a review on this product!
I'd be hoping so. Personally I wouldn't pay for maps again, OSM does everything I want it to do and is constantly being updated, I've seen new roads under construction that are shown on OSM as usable.
I read somewhere that the Garmin topo maps are inaccurate, and also not compatible with my old Zumo No, but I wanna be. Most people are more than happy to steer a respectful stranger pztopo local gems.
OzTopo V9 or Garmin Topo, other options?
